Statement of Energy Solutions Engineering Expectations

Energy Solutions Engineering (Enersole) is committed to sustainable and inclusive procurement practices that deliver value for our Clients. Enersole’s ethical outlines the expectations Enersole has of its collaborators. Collaborators must make their subcontractors aware of this code of conduct.

Health and Safety

We expect our collaborators to comply with all occupational health and safety legislation, regulation and codes of practice.


Ethical Behaviour

We expect our collaborators to manage their activities, and conduct themselves, with integrity in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and ethical standards.


Bribery and Corruption

We do not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form. We expect our collaborators to act against corruption and bribery and ensure that personal relationships do not interfere with business activities. The collaborator must take action to eliminate any inappropriate or unlawful activity and inform ENERSOLE.




Conflicts of Interest

We expect our collaborators to ensure that no conflicts of interest arise between them and ENERSOLE or if such conflicts are discovered that they are eliminated and reported to ENERSOLE.


Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

We expect our collaborators to recognize the freely exercised right of workers to organize and defend their interests and to bargain collectively, as well as to protect those workers from any action or other form of discrimination related to the exercise of their right to organize, to carry out trade union activities and to bargain collectively.




Collaborators Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to:

  • The principle of diversity and are committed to ensuring that individuals are shown respect, treated fairly and that there is no unlawful discrimination in our working relationships.
  • Connecting our communities, engaging a diverse collaborator base including women-owned businesses, disability and social enterprises.
  • Ensuring equality of opportunity and treatment in respect of employment and occupation without discrimination on grounds of race, colour, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, political opinion, social or ethnic background.

We encourage collaborators to seek out opportunities to do the same and request that collaborators share this commitment.


Human Rights and Modern Slavery

We expect our collaborators to:

  • Adhere to international human rights standards in their workplace.
  • Comply with local employment standards and maintain a workplace that is free from unlawful discrimination.

We expect our collaborators not to tolerate:

  • Human trafficking in any form.
  • Any form of modern slavery within its workforce.

We expect that all personnel involved in sourcing, processing, manufacturing, transporting or otherwise delivering goods/services to Enersole are free from modern slavery practices.

Collaborators, direct or indirect, involved in human trafficking, forced or child labour, slavery or the deceptive recruitment of labour, are required to cease their collaboration immediately to Enersole and will be reported as required by law to the appropriate authorities.

Upon request collaborators are required to provide detailed information on their goods and services and to declare any identified or perceived labour concerns to Enersole.


Environment

We expect our collaborators to perform their business activities in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding environmental protection. Upon request collaborators are required to provide information to ENERSOLE on environmental factors.


Material Compliance and Conflict Minerals

We expect our collaborators to:

  • Declare any goods containing hazardous substances or conflict minerals
  • To provide information to ENERSOLE on hazardous substances upon request.

Information Security and Data Protection

We expect our collaborators to:

  • Protect confidential information and personal data belonging to or vested in ENERSOLE in accordance with all relevant laws, and act to prevent its misuse, theft, fraud, or improper disclosure.
  • Take due care in handling, discussing, or transmitting confidential information and personal data that could affect Enersole, its employees, its Clients, the business community or the public, even after their assignment or contract with ENERSOLE has expired.
